The expansion and renovation of a large shopping mall located in the Boston area maximized a constrained site by creating layers of multiple uses -- including two new anchor stores, 100 new retail tenants, a high-rise residential building, a future on-site hotel and several underground parking levels.

The topography of the site reflects the meaning of the name “Natick”, the place of “rolling hills” -- which are reflected in custom, soft curving skylights, arcing atria and meandering walking paths.

Project Architect (one of four) – Oversaw design development to construction documents, including development of the rolling hills and skylights and central portion of the expansion as it meets the existing mall.
